In addition to their use of the US made Small Diameter Bomb (SDB), the Israelis have been using a number indigenously developed bombs to take out tunnels and buried weapons caches.It appears that the IMI PB500A1 is figuring rather prominently,which appears to allow for a 1000 lb class weapon to match the penetrating power of a 2000 lb class weapon, which allows an aircraft to carry more weapons per sortie.
