Needless to say, First, Taliban rebels captured the Farah district of Gulistan a week ago, then on Wednesday took nearby Bakwa. On Sunday, the insurgents seized Khak-e Sefid without a fight.
With US resources allocated to Iraq, and what there is of a US presence calling down air strikes willy-nilly, is it any surprise that we're losing there?
