Don't Buy Sony, EVER

Once again, Sony is bundling rootkit type spyware on hardware that it sells, this time on a USB drive.

It's somewhat less malicious than Sony's infamous CD spyware, the user has to install the software, and it appears to be intended to protect the fingerprint authentication on the drive, but it's the same technique, and introduces similar vulnerabilities.

It's stupid and shortsighted, and insecure.
