TP400 Engine Finally Takes Off
The 11,000 hp turboprop intended for the EADS A400M transport, and the flight by the C-130 testbed aircraft is well over a year late.
The aircraft flew a bit of an hour, and flight envelope expansion is hoped to proceed briskly....Though I would not put any money on that.
